Overview

On this Puerto Rican Urban art tour we’ll visit various local murals and street art pieces in the up-and-coming art district of Santurce. Here you will be guided through the local streets of some of the most beautiful urban street art on the island. This tour is ideal for all photography and art lovers. These local pieces will be your inspiration for our sip & paint class at the end of the tour. Our next stop will be an outdoor sip & paint next to Luquillo beach to end the tour.

See murals and street art. We’ll walk around the streets of Santurce to explore the murals and street art made by local artist, after that travelers will pick a scenery from “el barrio” to draw or paint on a canvas that we’ll provide.

Fabian was AMAZING! He was super knowledgeable and showed us the true culture of the island. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you want a TRUE cultural experience, then you should definitely take this tour! ** side note, Fabian saved a man on our trip, more the reason for him being awesome!

This was one of our favorite days in Puerto Rico!
I can’t say enough about how great this tour was. The fact that it was a private tour with just our group made the experience even better. As this was our 2nd time in PR we wanted to experience the local culture and places tourists wouldn’t know about- this was it!! The street art was spectacular, the juxtaposition of urban buildings and beautiful art made for stunning views and even better pictures. Visiting the art studio of the local artist was so cool. His art is…transcendent. Having the opportunity to hear him talk about his work and being warmly welcomed into his home, we felt truly privileged. We ended the tour at the most beautiful local beach where we painted and enjoyed cocktails. It was so serene and fun all at the same time.

Our tour guide Catherine took this experience from great to OUTSTANDING. It felt like we were spending the day with a close friend who just happens to live there. She was so fun and down to earth. We felt very safe and well taken care of with her. It’s clear she’s very knowledgeable about Puerto Rican culture and LOVES her island, it was a joy listening to her stories and spending the day with her.

One person from our group wasn’t able to come on the tour due to a scheduling change, and I’m still waiting on the refund for the person who couldn’t attend BUT other than that, I give this experience the highest of ratings. The tour operator was responsive and professional and our guide Catherine was amazing. I’d 100% recommend!

I booked this tour mainly for my daughter, who is a studio art major in college, thinking she would love it and I'd tag along. Catherine and Ariel were so much fun and taught us so much about the history and culture of Puerto Rico. The murals were beautiful, the food delicious, meeting Mr Lind and visiting his home studio was a very special experience, and then painting on the beach was the best way to end the tour. Thank you, Catherine and Ariel! Not only did my artsy daughter love the tour, but you made it fun and interesting for mom as well, and we both agreed this is our favorite tour we've taken!!

Best Art Tour

Tanya, the owner, was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing. This was possibly one of the best tours I've ever taken. You can tell she's passionate about what she does and how much she loves the island.

If you're looking for some great Instagram posts, this tour definitely will achieve that.

It was just my cousin and me on the tour and she made it tailored to what we wanted to see and adventure off to. We were extremely flexible in what our schedule was and we were up for anything.

We explored a town that is slowly building up on its street art as well as Loiza, Pinones, and Santurce.

We had one of our other cousins waiting for us and she allowed her to join in as well once we got to Loiza.

Before we went to Samuel's art studio, we went across the street and got a history lesson on bomba, which was a great surprise.

The tour ended up being almost 8 hours long and we didn't have a chance to do the paint and sip, but everything we had done made up for it.

Tanya went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more appreciative!
