Overview

The perfect choice if you want a short, easy nature walk to a waterfall surrounded by a gorgeous Puerto Rican subtropical humid forest in a more private setting. Also, have the chance to quickly explore the midsection of the beautiful central mountain range of Puerto Rico (usually not explored by tourists). There’s plenty of time to swim or sit down and relax, surrounded by the waterfall and learn about the island along the way. It is a fun and easy tour if you have limited time.

We will venture into the Door of the Mountain Range of Puerto Rico, enjoying a beautiful panoramic view through the countryside before reaching our exclusive nature reserve (Yes!, we are the only ones at the location). Also, before the hike, we will make a quick artisan coffee stop and our guide will lead the way tracing the “footsteps” of a four-generation coffee-roasters Puerto Rican family. It will be also a "baño", artisan "café" and a quick snack stop.

Amazing Experience

Our tour guide Andres was amazing! As a group of four (all different ages) he made sure we were all comfortable. The waterfall hike was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the coffee shop stop and our delicious lunch. Not only was Andres super helpful and encouraging throughout the hike, he was also very knowledgeable of the rainforest and all things Puerto Rico!

Andre was an amazing guide! He’s super friendly and genuinely cares to provide the best possible experience. He was always checking in on everyone in our group. He made it so complete strangers all became a family. He’s great at reminding you to get your stuff so you don’t leave it behind and also takes many pictures of your group! He was very encouraging to those of us having a harder time, never offensive. He provides mangos and pineapple as a reward for making it to the waterfall!

This was a challenging hike, however the large waterfall at the top made the entire thing worth it. The beautiful signs and flowers along the way were great! The coffee shop at the beginning was great. Even Pancho the burro and the goats were fun! The food was great at the end of the hike. Everything about this experience was authentic and amazing from the food, coffee, beautiful waterfalls, and hiking. We had an amazing time with Andre, thank you for being an amazing guide, 10/10 we highly recommend, we had a blast!

This was an amazing trip and experience. Loved every minute of it. André is so knowledgeable and helpful, couldn’t ask for a better guide. I would definitely go back and do another tour. Walking through the forest and jumping into the watering holes from the waterfalls was the best part for me. 6/5, 11/10, 110% not enough can be said abt this experience. Except to try it yourself!
