Overview

This is Puerto Rico thru the eyes of a local. Get out of the tourist area and out of the tourist trap tours. This is a unique experience in the heart of the island. We will be trekking thru the forest, swimming thru caves and overall having a blast like a true Puerto Rican.

Charco Azul and its other-worldly views is something that you simply cannot miss. Swimming thru caves is exhilarating. At the end we go cliff jumping (optional) for even more adrenaline. This visit includes The Arenales Caves as well

Had the absolute best time on this trip. Tour guides are super cool and chill. They provide snacks and water and lots of guidance. Highly recommend this tour but you gotta be somewhat fit and the trekk requires some strength to get up and over rocks. We wore water shoes and had no issue. Water shoes or sneakers are required. As far as clothing goes, shorts and bathing suit top for women, shirtless for men. You’ll have life jacket on whole time. If you’re scared of heights like me, ask for the “baby” and “medium” cliffs which were really great, and not as high. they also take care of pictures and advise against taking anything extra with you . we will definitely go on another adventure with them next time we’re in PR.

Went on a your in September 2022, a week after the hurricane. San Juan and the tour area was not impacted significantly. Restaurants and activities still continued, including this tour. The caves were open. Our tour group was light, just 6 people, including the tour guide. The tour guide, I believe his name was Brad, was the best. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. Would book with this tour again, as they have 8 different spots/adventures.

Unlike most tours and adventures you would buy, this one is EXTREMELY special as it is AUTHENTIC from actual LOCALS!

Absolute AMAZING adventure, EXTREMELY authentic as the tour guides are local and know it like their hands therefore it makes it a VERY realistic and in-depth journey unlike most excursions where it’s all basic stuff without any special touches or genuine info and sights. I believe our tour guide was Brandon who did an INCREDIBLE job. Thank you so much!!! I will absolutely recommend this and do this EVERY time I go to Puerto Rico.

Our guide was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable. He brought us to some of the most stunning areas of the caves and river, and to the best spots to swim and jump from the rocks, and even packed snacks and water for everyone. Highly recommend this tour!
