This is a experience that you must do in person. The little Platon that light up was amazing, but sadly you cannot capture It on camera therefore You have to see it in person, and I promise you it is worth every penny.

What a fun night time activity! The weather was perfect and our guides made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The canal was very dark which added to the overall excitement of the tour. We had a blast
Pretty cool!

The BioBay tour in Fajardo by Kayaking Puerto Rico was a pretty cool experience. It felt like an adventure kayaking the mangroves at night. Pretty surreal! The guides Bryan, Miguel and Noel were very good. They were friendly, helpful and informative about the ecosystem of the biobay. I especially liked when my daughter and I were having trouble kayaking as we are not experienced and Bryan tied us to his kayak, helping us kayak along the entire trek. That was first rate service! Unfortunately, I kayaked the biobay 13 years ago and the bay definitely glowed a lot more and was very bright. This time however, it didn’t glow as much as I remembered. In fact, now you have to put a tarp over your head to be able to see it clearly. We never had to do that before. It could be because it was a full moon and that made it difficult to see the glow of the water. Or maybe Hurricane Maria affected it. Only time I saw it bright was a few short times on the mangroves. In the bay you can hardly see the glow. Again, could of been because of the full moon. Either way, it’s still impressive and I would recommend this trip. We had a good time!

Kayaking the Bio bay was a bit underwhelming. By the time we got to the bay/lagoon we'd already been kayaking in the bioluminescence for quite some time. Everyone had already noticed the water "glowing" as their paddles hit the water. Once we reached the bay they made everyone meet together and they did a whole production about why it was glowing. It was a bit cheesy and I think most people were annoyed that they hooked us all together for it. Kind of seemed like a waste of time and a pain as some people couldn't get the hang of kayaking and we were all waiting on them. We had a large group too and I heard several people complain about the size of it. It was cool to kayak in the dark and it's an experience I can check off my list, but I wasn't as "wowed" as I'd hoped to be.
