What To Expect

El Yunque National Forest
We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 25-minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn of the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 100 year-old trees. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an a very authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. We end the trip by having lunch at a local small family owned restaurant that serves authentic home-style food (NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE). Good physical condition required as hike is in pure nature, muddy & fun. Our team of local guides focus on showing the best of the island for an unique local experience.

Marlon was an amazing guide. Sharing a lot of important information on the Yunque Rainforest, with a comedic punch.

At first the group felt a bit tense but he managed to ease everyone making it an even better experience. The tour has just the right amount of hiking so a novice can enjoy the experience. The water slide and dive was a great experience.

Everything as described.
Greatest time in el Yunque !

It was an unique experience, even though the weather was a bit unpredictable our guide Mardier made the best out of it. He was well knowledgeable of the area, great guy who made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Would recommend him to anyone.
Would absolutely recommend

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It provided a great way to learn about El Yunque, and it’s rich history, from an experienced guide. It also provided great thrills and even allowed for us to try some delicious local foods.

We are avid hikers, but this hike still offered a bit of a challenge. Our guide (Marty) shared a plethora of knowledge about the rainforest and its plant and animal life. The best part was that, the challenge of the hike was rewarded with beautiful views of waterfalls and pools of clear-blue water. We had the thrills of gliding down natural water slides, leaping from the cliffs and plunging into the cool water, launching from the rocky slopes on a rope swing, and taking stunning photos at the base of the picturesque waterfall!

Transportation was included, which is no small detail if you’ve ever had the white-knuckle experience of driving in PR. The only reason that I did not rate our experience with 5 stars, is that our guide forgot a client at the pickup point. We were 20 minutes away when he realized it, so we had to double back to get them.
